Vol. 2 No. 1 (2026): INSAN CITA: Journal of Islamic Civilization and Social Movements

The latest issue of Insan Cita: Journal of Islamic Civilization and Social Movements, published by the Islamic World Development Network (IWDN), features seven scholarly articles resulting from international collaboration, with a total of 22 authors representing 15 countries: Indonesia, Australia, Japan, Cambodia, Egypt, China, Malaysia, the United Kingdom, Thailand, Gambia, Turkey, Pakistan, Azerbaijan, Kazakhstan, and the United Arab Emirates. This authorship composition reflects an academic network spanning Asia, Europe, Africa, and Australia, thereby enriching perspectives on Islamic civilization studies and the dynamics of contemporary social movements. Each article in this issue adopts an interdisciplinary approach that positions Islam as an intellectual and social force responsive to global change, while reaffirming the journal’s commitment to fostering collaborative, transnational scholarly discourse that is relevant to the challenges of modern civilization.
