Insan Cita: Journal of Islamic Civilization and Social Movements is a peer-reviewed scholarly journal published regularly by the Korps Alumni Himpunan Mahasiswa Islam (KAHMI) in collaboration with UIN Syarif Hidayatullah Jakarta. The journal focuses on enriching the study of Islamic civilization and the dynamics of social movements through a multidisciplinary approach. This journal emerges in response to the academic need for a platform that bridges historical, theoretical, and empirical analyses concerning the interaction of Islam with social, cultural, political, and economic developments across various local and global contexts. Emphasizing an evidence-based scientific approach, Insan Cita explores strategic themes such as the evolution of Islamic civilization from classical to contemporary periods, the dynamics of social movements inspired by Islamic values, the role of Muslim communities in social transformation processes, and the responses to challenges posed by modernity and globalization.

As a forum for the advancement of scholarly thought, Insan Cita is committed to publishing original works based on primary research and in-depth theoretical analysis, contributing significantly to the development of the social sciences, humanities, and Islamic studies.
